Andaman Nicobar State BJP unit president Vishal Jolly has accused A & B state Cooperative Bank (ANSCB) of involvement in misappropriation of gold loans but the bank has denied the allegation, reports UNI.
Addressing journalists Kuldeep Rai Sharma Vice Chairman of Andaman Nicobar Bank, said as per the RBI Guidelines ANSCB must maintain a minimum liquidity amount of Rs 210 crore on a daily basis, while the bank is maintaining Rs 252 crore and there is an additional excess of surplus fund of Rs 211.34 crore.
Regarding demand of CBI inquiry in Andaman Nicobar State Bank, the vice-chairman said he fully endorses the demand of BJP State President of CBI inquiry as the bank would like to come out squeaky clean in the matter.
