Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank recently held its 54th General Body Meeting in Port Blair, which was presided over by Kuldeep Rai Sharma vice chairman of the bank, reports a news outlet, The Echo of India.
In his remarks, Sharma said the bank’s financial situation is sound and the bank has earned a net profit of Rs. 3.90 crore. K. Murugan, MD said the Bank uses the latest technology in its operations. Its total business has crossed Rs 1269 crores with an advances portfolio of Rs. 438 crores and deposit of Rs. 829 crores, Murugan added.
Directors of the board and representatives of various Service Co-operative societies, senior officials and staff members of the bank attended the meeting.
