According to Telangana Today reports, Gujarat’s dairy cooperative society Amul will set up its largest plant in the state to strengthen the dairy sector.
The cooperative has identified 25 acres of land at Warangal. The proposed plant will handle 5 lakh litres of milk every day.
The land acquisition will cost the cooperative Rs. 25 crore. Sources close to the Telangana govt. say the plant capacity will be ramped up to 10 lakh litres per day in the course of time.
