Nearly five lakh milk producers of Anand, Kheda and Mahisagar districts in Central Gujarat, associated with Amul get a hike of Rs. 30 per kg/fat from11 August due to rise in input costs, reports Desh Gujarat.
In other words, milk farmers will get Rs. 850 per kg/fat Instead of Rs. 820 per kg/fat, from August 11.
However, it is being conjectured that the hike in payment for farmers will cause a hike in prices of Amul milk.
