After Jyotindra Mehta, G H Amin, Chairman of Gujarat State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation has also pledged his support to Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on the issue of launching “ATMANIRBHAR GUJARAT SAHAY YOJNA” worth Rs 5000 crore.
Writing a letter to CM, Amin said “Sir, it is really a commendable step for the economic upliftment of the poor and the grass root level people of the Society as well as the small traders, street vendors, hawkers, skilled workers, artisans etc by way of launching a scheme to give guarantee free loan of Rs. 1 lac at 2 % nominal interest rate for three years with the moratorium of six months on repayment of loan through District Cooperative Banks, Nagrik Sahakari Banks and Credit Cooperative Societies.”
“I am pleased to state that in order to make the scheme successful you have reposed the trust in the Cooperative framework and network and have assigned the task of execution of the scheme to Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies which reflects that the Cooperative organizations and institutions always work in close cooperation and coordination with the Government”, the letter reads.
“Besides I also express sincere feelings of thanks and gratitude to you on behalf of Gujarat State Cooperative Union and 6000 Credit Cooperative Societies”, Amin says.
