Leading Gujarat cooperative leader and Vice-President of NCUI has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing the Rs. 20 lakh crore package to prevent serious damage to the Indian economy. “It reflects your sagacity and clear sightedness”, wrote Amin in a letter to PM.
“When India and the entire world is caught in Covid-19 pandemic, you have taken timely and commendable action with foresightedness to prevent the spread of Coronavirus transmission by way of declaring nationwide lockdown which has been applauded by the whole world. I also extend my heartiest congratulations for the same”, reads Amin’s letter.
“This package will lend a tremendous boost to the rural and urban economy and will help small street vendors, small traders, small entrepreneurs, farmers, rural and urban poor”, Amin said.
Mudra Shishu loan, housing sector, employees of small industries, micro finance, credit guarantee, contractors etc are also going to be well protected through this package, he added.
