The leading online sale-counter Amazon has tied up with GCMMF-the owner of Amul to sell its product in nine countries. One can order Amul product in USA from November 25 onwards, say media reports.
The Pride of India as Amul is popularly known would be available to global citizens in whatever form they would like to have it. The news coming on the eve of birth anniversary of Verghese Kurien the man who led the milk revolution through Amul is being hailed at Anand-the headquarters of GCMMF.
Gopal Pillai, the Amazon Indian official said “We are happy to announce an online exclusive partnership with Amul, the iconic and most loved dairy brand in India”.
“We are helping Amul with logistics, returns, so they don’t have to worry about anything,” Pillai underlined.
