Uttarakhand based Almora District Central Cooperative Bank will provide loans to the migrants who have no employment.
Talking to Indian Cooperative Almora DCCB Chairman Lalit Singh said, “In the wake of Covid-19 hundreds of migrants have returned to their homes losing their sources of livelihood. The online registration of migrants is going on”.
“The bank will provide these young men and women with loans who want to start their businesses. The migrants can start the business of poultry farms, dairy, tailoring and others.
The objective behind the scheme to make migrants employed so they can become self-reliant”, he added on the phone.
