Uttarakhand based Almora District Cooperative Bank Chairman Lalit Latwal informs that in the Corona era, loans are being given to unemployed people and women groups at zero percent interest rate for self-employment through cooperatives.
Through cooperatives, people are being encouraged to undertake agricultural work, said Latwal adding necessary works are also being done to make cooperative banks convenient.
On the occasion, the officers of the bank and Cooperative Society along with Nagar Panchayat President Mukul Sah welcomed Latwal with flowers and garlands.
NAP President Mukul Sah, KCDF President Bhupendra Kandpal, Madan Mohan Pandey and others were present on the occasion.
