Almora District Cooperative Bank organized its 50th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, in which MP Ajay Tamta was the chief guest. It was revealed that the bank has earned a net profit of Rs 6.16 crore in the 2020-21 FY. Earlier it was Rs 4.85 crore.
On the occasion, Tamta praised the efforts of the bank in fulfilling the needs of the needy and said that the bank is also providing self-employment to poor families through different schemes.
The Almora DCCB Chairman Lalit Latwal said We have given a loan of Rs 49.56 cr to 10,419 members in Almora and Bageshwar districts under the Deendayal Kisan Yojana. Every effort is being made to digitize all the branches.
Uttarakhand State Cooperative Bank Chairman Dan Singh Rawat said that any policy can be easily placed in front of the general public through cooperatives. Many schemes are being operated through cooperative banks.
