Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar visited the headquarters of the State Cooperative Council at Pune last week and congratulated the newly appointed Chairman Vidyadhar Anaskar for his new job.
Readers would recall that recently Anaskar had been appointed as the Chairman of the Council. a government body that gave him the status of a Minister of State.
On the occasion, Pawar was urged to see that the necessary changes are brought about in the co-operative law to enable the cooperative council to fulfil the state govt. ‘s expectations.
Soon after visiting the headquarters, Maharashtra Deputy CM Pawar shared the news through his twitter wall. Anil Kawade, Commissioner, Cooperatives, Shekhar Gaikwad, Sugar Commissioner and senior officials of Cooperatives were present on the occasion.
