The largest agri-cooperative federation NAFED is going to elect new board on 23rd May. The elections would take place at the NCUI Auditorium, Hauz Khas, New Delhi. About 429 members are eligible to cast their votes.
K.K.Ravindran has been appointed as the Returning officer to oversee the election process. Ravindran is the Managing Director of National Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Banks Federation (NCARDB).
Talking to this correspondent on the phone Ravindran said, “The filing of nomination papers will be held on 20th May up to 5:00 P.M. whereas the scrutiny of nominations will be held on 21st May and the publications of valid nominations will take place on the day of scrutiny itself”.
