Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah informed that as of January 27, 2025, a total of 1,866 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) in Andhra Pradesh have started functioning as Common Service Centers (CSCs), expanding their role beyond agricultural credit services.

Traditionally focused on providing short and medium-term agricultural credit to farmers, these PACS-turned-CSCs now offer over 300 e-services in rural areas, including: Banking & Insurance Services,  Aadhaar Enrollment/Updation and Health Services and Agricultural Support Services

Currently, 70,471 farmers in Andhra Pradesh are actively availing various e-services provided by CSC-PACS, ensuring easier access to essential facilities in remote areas.

As per data from CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd., a total of 1,812 PACS in Andhra Pradesh have already undergone training to function as Common Service Centers.
