Gujarat’s leading urban co-op bank- Rajkot Nagarik Sahakari Bank has performed impressively by crossing the business mix of more than Rs 10,000 crore and earning a profit of Rs 133.67 crore in the 2023-24 financial year.
The deposits of the Bank increased from Rs 5,783 crore (2022-23) to Rs 6,231 crore whereas advances grew from Rs 3,359 crore to Rs 3,817 crore as of 31st March 2024. The business mix stood at Rs 10,048 crore.
A distinguished leader in the cooperative banking sector, Rajkot Nagarik Sahakari Bank Director Jyotindra Mehta shared the news through his facebook wall.,“Rajkot Nagarik Sahakari Bank joins the 10,000 crore club with ‘0’ net NPA”.
Mehta’s post received a huge response from his followers who lost no time in congratulating him in particular and the bank in general. The who’s who of the cooperative banking sector extended their greetings to Mehta.
The bank again also maintained the tradition of having ‘Zero’ net NPA for the 2023-24 FY.
On the bank’s impressive financial report, the Chairman Jimmybhai Dakshini said, “Our bank has performed well on all the financial parameters in the 2023-24 FY and we are at the forefront in adopting professional approach in the bank as well as in executing social responsibility”.
“The bank is providing its customers with mobile and Whatsapp banking as well in various branches of the bank; the facility of E-Lobby is also there”, he said.
In particular, in the era of digital transactions, 87 percent of all bank transactions are digital. Besides, Gold loans available at nominal interest rates continue to be very useful for small and middle class people.
