Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative Bank (PMC) Limited has inaugurated its 130th branch at Agashi Road, Virar (W), Maharashtra. The social media handle of PMC Bank shared details with the photographs and wrote “PMC Bank open its 130th Branch on 13 September, 2017 at Agashi Raod, Virar (W).
In the 34th Annual General Meeting of PMC Bank Chairman S Waryam Singh said “the bank has expanded its network and opened 11 branches in the financial year 2016-17. It is proposed to open 6 more branches during the 2017-18 FY: two branches in Surat and four branches in Mumbai, he said.
It bears recall that the PMC Bank is the first Multi State Scheduled Bank to issue Rupay Credit Card at the rate of one percent Interest.
The bank now has a strong network of 130 branches across Maharashtra, Goa, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 96 crore in the last financial year with a network of 130 branches.
Earlier, the 13th M.R.Pai Memorial Award, constituted by the leading bank of Maharashtra, Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative Bank (PMC Bank) was bestowed on A.P.Hota, Ex Managing Director and CEO of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) for the year 2017 at IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry premises in Mumbai.
