In a significant step toward uniting the cooperative credit sector on a global platform, Nafcub Chairman Emeritus Dr. H.K. Patil officially launched the dedicated web portal www.nafcubcoopkumbh2025.com for the upcoming international conference “CoopKumbh 2025”.
He was joined by Nafcub President Laxmi Dass at the launch ceremony held in New Delhi.
The conference, scheduled to take place on November 8–9, 2025 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, is being organized by the National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies (NAFCUB).
It is expected to be one of the largest gatherings of stakeholders in the cooperative credit sector, both from India and abroad.
On the occasion, Dr. Patil and Dass extended an open invitation to all stakeholders in the cooperative credit sector across the country to participate in this landmark event. They emphasized the importance of collective dialogue and collaboration to drive sustainable growth in the sector.
The United Nations has declared 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives, making CoopKumbh2025 a timely and significant event.
The conference aims to celebrate the spirit of cooperation and provide a platform to discuss policy frameworks, innovations, and challenges facing the urban cooperative banking and credit society landscape.
The organizers have extended an invitation to Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the event, while the Union Minister for Home and Cooperation is expected to preside over the conference. International representatives from the cooperative movement are also anticipated to attend, adding global insights to the event’s discussions.
NAFCUB, with continued support from the Ministry of Cooperation, has been at the forefront of initiatives to strengthen the urban cooperative credit sector.
The upcoming CoopKumbh2025 is another major step in that direction, aiming to foster knowledge-sharing, policy advocacy, and collaborative growth across the cooperative ecosystem.
Prominent NAFCUB officials Subhash Gupta, Yogesh Sharma, Vivek Gupta and others were also present at the launch of dedicated web portal, alongside other distinguished guests and cooperative leaders.
