While the State cooperative Banks in majority of states including Maharashtra is making news for all the wrong reasons, Kerala State Cooperative bank offers a relief.
The Bank runs a Co-operative Institute of Management and Technology (CIMAT) which is offering an advanced training programme in Integrated IT and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
First time in the State, this course would give exposure to students to a wide range of IT skills. And it would also offer a complete GIS curriculum to the students.
Geotrans Technologies has tied up with CIMAT to offer all components of this course. Admission opens from Monday, October 17, 2011 and would take 25 students in the first batch.
The programme will also enable students to get placed in reputed companies across the country. Student pursuing engineering, MCA or graduate-in-science courses are eligible for admission to this course. It is six-month training and would help student to get best jobs in the national and international job market, according to experts. .
