Maharashtra based Multi-state Kalyan Janata Sahakari Bank has launched ‘Rupay Platinum Debit Card’ for its customers during the Charity Assistance Program organized recently in Kalyan, Maharashtra.
The ‘Rupay Platinum Debit Card’ was inaugurated by Narendra Pawar, BJP MLA from Kalyan West and ex Vice-Chancellor of Yashwant Chavan Open University, Prof Ashok Pradhan.
Narendra Pawar who was invited as the chief guest shared the news through social media. “Participated in a Charity Assistance Program concluded by Kalyan Janata Sahakari Bank. The bank took the lead in providing financial support for social responsibility and giving contribution as a charitable donation. Also launched Rupay Platinum Debit Card on the occasion”.
It bears recall that the bank had launched RuPay Debit Card in February, 2014 allowing access to its customers to more than 10 lakh POS & 2 lakhs ATMs all over the country.
Launching of Platinum debit card is a step forward. Its additional features were explained by NPCI officials, such as Accident Death Cover of 2 lakh, Permanent disability cover of 2 lakh to card holders. The Cash back facility for utility bill payments e.g. mobile, telephone, electricity, gas, etc, access to airport lounges both domestic & international, according to the press release issued by the bank.
Bank Chairman Adv. Suresh W. Patwardhan, Vice Chairman Madhusudan R. Patil, CEO Atul N.Khirwadkar and others were present on the occasion.
