According to a delayed press release issued by NAFCUB the merger between Kalupur Commercial Co-op bank and the Ankleshwar Udyognagar Co-op bank took place last month.
This is the sixth bank taken over by the Kalupur Co-op Bank. Ankleshwar city in South Gujarat is industrially developed and hosts a large number of SMEs.
The advanced skill-set and upgraded technology of Kalupur would come handy for these SMEs. They can now avail of Forex related services also.
With this take over, Kalupur Bank has a network of 44 branches. The vice chairman of KCCB, Shri Navneet Bhai Patel formally presided over the function to mark the occasion.
