Maharashtra based Kallappanna Awade Ichalkaranji Janata Sahakari Bank (Kaijs) Bank organized its 61st Annual General Body meeting recently, in which it was revealed that the UCB has performed well on financial parameters.
On the occasion, Kaijs bank Chairman Swapnil Awade informed that the Bank achieved a business mix of Rs 3984 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 13.35 crore as on 31st March 2023.
The deposits of the bank increased from Rs 2290 cr (2021-22) to Rs 2402 crore as on 31st March 2023. During the last year, the total outstanding loan was Rs 1497.29 crore which has increased to Rs 1581.95 crore.
During the financial year, the Bank has taken stringent action for recovery so as to reduce the NPA. The gross NPA is of Rs 151.49 Crore as on 31.03.2023. The percentage of gross NPA is 9.58% and Net NPA percentage is 4.19%. Compared to last year, Provision Coverage Ratio is increased this year.
The bank has earned a total income of Rs 224.66 Crore and incurred a total expenditure of Rs 172.00 Crore, with gross profit of Rs 52.65 Crore during this year. After making necessary provisions of Rs 39.30 crore, the bank has declared net profit of Rs 13.35 Crore.
The bank has been in operation in Maharashtra State with 39 branches and in Karnataka State 5 branches are in operation with a total of 44 branches. 15 On-site ATMS & 3 Off-site ATMs are functioning as well as the bank is abreast in rendering the latest technology to its customers as provided by Commercial & Nationalized banks.
The bank’s CEO Sanjay Shirgave read the notice and the subject paper. The members present at this meeting were unanimous in approving things.
On the occasion, Jawahar Chabada, Dr. Rahul Awade, Babaso Patil, Sunil Patil, Manohar Joshi, Chandrakant Chougule, Ashokrao Saundattikar as well as Directors of the bank, members, executives and employees of the bank were present.
The Bank’s vice-chairman Sanjay Anigol gave a vote of thanks.
