Kallappanna Awade Ichalkaranji Janata Sahakari Bank based in Maharashtra was honoured with the Banco 2013 award in the Urba Bank’s Conclave held recently at Mahabaleshwar.
The award programme was organised in collaboration with Avij Publication, Kolhapur ad Galaxy Counseling, Pune to those who have done an incredible act in the banking field. KAIJS Bank, during the financial 2013-14, has crossed the business of Rs 1800 crores and thereby awarded with the BANCO 2013 award.
The award was given by Shri Dinesh Oulkar, Additional Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Maharashtra State in the presence of Ashok Naik Director of Galaxy Counseling Pvt. Ltd., Pune, Avinash Shintre-Gundale-Chief editor of Avij Publication, Kohlapur and others. The award was accepted by the bank’s director Shri Pramod Barge and Asst. General Manager Shri Sanjay Shirgave.
The UCB was started with the inspiration and cooperation of Shri Kallappanna (Dada) Ex-MP and founder Chairman of Bank. And with the contributions of people like Prakashrao Awade (Ana), Ex. Textile Minister, the bank has achieved the incredible progress with the spread of its branches all over Maharashtra & Karnataka State, said a press release. The bank is said to keep pace with the latest technology like Core Banking Solution, RTGS, NEFT, CDM Machine, Centralized Cheque System, Franking, ATM Network and compete with the Private as well as Commercial banks.
As such the bank has emerged as “bank weaving the minds of mankind” whose credit goes to the Customers and Shareholders of the bank. A large number of representatives from the co-operative Banks were present on this occasion.
