Maharashtra based Multi-State Scheduled Bank, Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank (DNS Bank) is planning to expand its foot-print in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh by the next financial year. The bank has recently received the Multi State Scheduled status.
Talking to this correspondent on the phone, the Bank CEO and General Manager Gopal Giridhar Paranjpe said “As we have recently received Multi State Scheduled Bank status, we have planned to open our first branch in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh”.
“Recently, we have opened our 63rd, 64th and 65th branches at Mahad, Marunji and Kamothe respectively and will open two more branches one in Pune and another in Adharwadi in Maharashtra in this financial year”, informed its CEO.
The branches were inaugurated by Bank Vice-Chairperson Nandini Shashikant Kulkarni. Many people including, some directors were present on the occasion.
Apart from offering traditional Banking products, the Bank has always been in the forefront enabling a host of digital banking channels to increase the facilities and services for its customers, claimed its CEO.
Meanwhile, the DNS Bank intends achieving reach a business mix of Rs 10,000 crore and 75 branches by 2020. In 2017, the bank has crossed the business mix of Rs 7,000 crore, said the CEO of the bank.
The DNS Bank has recently invited online applications from Graduates to fill 40 positions of Assistant Manager at various locations in Maharashtra which saw massive response.
The Bank was established on 6th September 1970 and is having a network of 65 branches. It has a business mix of about Rs 7,500 and deposits of 4,300 crore. The Bank earned a net profit of Rs 38 crore.
There are about one lakh shareholders associated with the bank. The Bank uses the Oracle company software.
