Though majority of ministers in Prime Minister Narendra Modi team are social media enthusiasts few could match the zeal of the Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh.
First it was video-conferencing, then Hello Kisan and now Live Chat on Minister’s Face Book on Wednesday at 1.30 pm.
Ministry’s PIB section announces “ Live chat with Radha Mohan Singh on Facebook”. It reads “the Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Radha Mohan Singh will interact live with citizens and farmers on Wednesday, 22nd June 2016, at 1.30 PM on Minister’s Facebook Page.”
All are invited to share their ideas and post their questions using the hashtag #?AskRMS on https://www.facebook.com/SinghRadhaMohan/.
Earlier, Singh interacted with media persons of about ten states through video conferencing. Singh also webcast his show live on face book for his followers. Indian Cooperative also participated and asked a question on the future of Nafed to Singh on this occasion.
Singh is on the spree of highlighting various schemes of the govt such as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yozana, Soil Health Card implemented by the government for the welfare of farmers.
Singh also does not forget to underline the fact that his government had also increased the budget allocation for the farmers. The govt is focusing on how to increase farm production. It aims to enable farmer to double their income.
