With the quashing of the above by Gujarat HC , what is the position vis a vis the ordinance passed by the Maharashtra assembly?
Is there any PIL also filed for quashing in the Aurangabad bench of Bombay HC?

Unless the judgment of Gujarat HC is challenged before the Supreme Court and the Apex Court also upholds it, the HC judgment is binding on all Courts in Gujarat only not in any other State.
The State Cooperation Minister has a few days back told the press that PILs were pending before Bombay High Court. This judgment when received will have the effect on Maharashtra Ordinance. For example the provision of ceiling of 21 directors on board of Cooperative Society/Bank/Federation etc has been stayed by Bombay High Court as in many federations each member society has one member on board.
