There was a vibrant line-up of cooperators across the country celebrating the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm. From national-level cooperatives to state, district, and village levels, the national flag was unfurled at respective premises, marking the occasion with gusto.
NCUI President Dileepbhai Sanghani extended his wishes on the occasion of Republic Day and celebrated the day by hoisting the national flag at the IFFCO’s Phulpur Unit.
ICA-AP and Kribhco Chairman Chandra Pal Singh Yadav celebrated the day with school children, hoisting the national flag at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
On the occasion of Republic Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 at his official residence on Sunday, making Uttar Pradesh the first state in India to initiate this global celebration.
NUCFDC Chairman Jyotindra Mehta shared his greetings on social media, writing, “Happy Republic Day. Sending you joy, pride, and warm wishes on Republic Day.”
The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) also extended its wishes, stating,
The agri-cooperative NAFED shared its greetings, saying, “Republic Day symbolizes the greatness and integrity of our country’s democratic system. Just as our Constitution has united the nation, through cooperative efforts, we can move towards equality, prosperity, and self-reliance. Warm wishes from the NAFED family on the 76th Republic Day!”
The Pune-based cooperative institution VAMNICOM celebrated the day with great enthusiasm, hoisting the national flag at their office. They wrote, “VAMNICOM celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm! Faculty, staff, and students participated in the celebration.”
The official Twitter handle of Saraswat Bank shared, “As we salute our great Constitution, let’s renew our pledge to uphold its values. Wishing everyone a proud and patriotic Republic Day!”
SVC Cooperative Bank celebrated the 76th Republic Day at their Corporate Office in Vakola with a special ceremony led by Ms. Ashwini Vinekar, General Manager, and Ashish Aldangadi, Deputy General Manager, alongside team members from HRM, Marketing, Premises & Development, security, and support staff.
On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day parade in Jammu, the Department of Cooperatives, J&K, presented a captivating cooperative tableau, highlighting the importance of cooperative principles in advancing socio-economic empowerment and marking a significant milestone as part of the International Year of Cooperatives (IYC) 2025 celebration.
Reports of celebrations by cooperators also came in from Bihar, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, and other parts of the country, where leaders unfurled the tricolor to mark the occasion.
