Praful Kumar Singh won the Biscomaun Palamu district representative election unopposed. The elections for district delegates, held on December 12-13, play a key role in selecting the chairman and directors of Biscomaun.
From Palamu, two representatives from Group A and B were elected unopposed. On Friday, District Cooperative Officer Umesh Sinha presented certificates to the victors.
Praful, currently a director of Bihar-Jharkhand Land Development Bank and Bihar State Housing Cooperative Federation, also represents the Jharkhand State Cooperative Bank.
He emphasized efforts to boost the cooperative movement in Jharkhand, expressing optimism about its growth in Bihar-Jharkhand. The elected delegates will vote in the January 2025 main elections.
