Telangana based Adarsh Cooperative Urban Bank inaugurated its 26th branch at Hasmathpet, Old Bowenpally, Hyderabad on Monday and it was inaugurated by the RBI Retd. Manager Pothukuchi Sashidhara Sastry.
Inaugurating the branch, Sastry praised the bank’s commitment to supporting small traders, manufacturers, and businesspeople, thereby contributing to local economic development.
Speaking at the event, the bank Chairman G Madana Gopala Swamy highlighted the bank’s focus on MSME lending and small vendor loans ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh.
He announced the upcoming Loan Originating System (LOS) to streamline loan processing and ensure hassle-free virtual services. The bank emphasized customer safety through a 24/7 monitoring system, investments in cyber security upgrades, and UPI payment promotions to reduce cash transactions.
Currently the bank operates in six districts with 26 branches and 55 ATMs (inclusive of CDMs), the bank plans to add nine more branches and 20 ATMs by March 2025, adhering to the RBI guidelines and promoting inclusive growth.
