The National Summit on strengthening the cooperative movement for a Viksit Bharat is set to take place today on Thursday at the LPS Auditorium, PHD House, in New Delhi.
Organized by the Task Force on Cooperatives in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, the summit promises to serve as a critical platform to discuss the pivotal role of cooperatives in driving inclusive growth and sustainable development.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM and will feature Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperation, as the chief guest. Dr. Bhutani is expected to share key insights on the government’s vision for the future of the cooperative movement and its contributions to achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047.
Vinit Nahata, speaking to the Indian Cooperative, emphasized the importance of the event, encouraging active participation.
The summit is anticipated to spark meaningful dialogue and provide participants with opportunities to collaborate on innovative ideas aimed at strengthening the cooperative sector.
