The National Cooperative Union of India’s training arm, NCCE, kicked off a five-day refresher course in Cooperative Policy and Development on Monday, attended by Kapil Meena, IAS, Director, Ministry of Cooperation.
The event commenced with an address from Savitri Singh, Deputy Chief Executive of NCUI, setting a tone for knowledge sharing and collaboration for the days to come.
Kapil Meena, IAS, from the Ministry of Cooperation, briefed the participants on the recent initiatives and new policies of the government, providing a comprehensive overview of the current landscape and future directions.
This program, attended by a total of 37 participants, was meticulously designed to provide the latest updates and insights into the cooperative sector.
A warm welcome was extended to all participants, representing various universities from states such as Assam, Meghalaya, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Gujarat, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh.
Over the course of the next five days, participants will be exposed to significant developments and recent initiatives undertaken by the Ministry.
Additionally, the program includes study visits to various cooperatives in Delhi, offering practical insights and hands-on learning experiences.
The presence of distinguished guests, who have been instrumental in shaping cooperative policies and driving development in this sector, adds great value to the program.
