IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U S Awasthi met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Thursday to discuss the preparations for the upcoming global cooperative event scheduled for November this year in Delhi.
As the Parliamentary session is ongoing, Awasthi met Shah at the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Parliament House in New Delhi.
In a tweet, Awasthi wrote: “Today, I met Sh. Amit Shah Ji, Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation, at Lok Sabha Secretariat, Parliament House, New Delhi. I briefed the Hon’ble Minister about the forthcoming ICA Global Cooperative Conference, which India will be hosting for the first time in the history of ICA in November 2024.”
Awasthi also mentioned, “I also updated him about IFFCO Nano Urea Plus and IFFCO Nano DAP, along with the rural entrepreneurs being trained by IFFCO for agri-drone operations. It was a nice meeting,” he concluded.
It is worth noting that Bharat Mandapam has already been booked for the ICA Global Conference, and efforts are being made to have the Prime Minister inaugurate the event. More than 1500 cooperators from hundreds of countries are likely to participate in the event, which is being held in India for the first time.
