In a pioneering move, the Surat (Gujarat) District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (SUMUL) has installed its first-of-its-kind milk vending machine in Surat.
The inauguration ceremony of the milk vending machine was held on Saturday in the presence of Sumul Dairy Chairman Mansinh Patel, Vice Chairman Raju Pathak, board members, MD Arun Purohit and others.
This innovative initiative is aimed at providing customers with round-the-clock access to milk and milk products.
Sumul Dairy Chairman Mansinhbhai Patel said, “We are excited to introduce this state-of-the-art milk vending machine in Surat. This initiative underscores our commitment to leveraging technology to better serve our customers. With this machine, we aim to provide easy access to high-quality milk and milk products at any time of the day”, Patel stated.
“The vending machine offers an array of products, including fresh milk, flavored milk, yogurt, butter, and cheese. Customers can simply swipe their card or insert cash to purchase the desired products, which are dispensed in a hygienic and user-friendly manner”, he added.
Sumul is a one of the milk unions associated with Gujarat Milk Marketing Cooperative Federation (GCMMF).
