This budget focuses on tackling unemployment through skill development and increasing the supply of affordable food items such as vegetables, pulses, and edible oil to curb inflation.
Strengthening rural cooperatives, particularly Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACs), dairy, and fisheries, will play a crucial role in boosting income levels in the rural sector.
Capital expenditure is set to rise without increasing government borrowings. Other notable features include the transition to renewable energy, leveraging digital public platforms for agriculture, and various measures to support MSMEs.
Overall, this is a welcome budget in challenging times.
