The Reserve Bank of India is organizing a conference for the select directors of Urban Cooperative Banks having deposits of more than 1000 crore of Gujarat and Maharashtra on Friday i.e. today on 21st June 2024 at Taj Skyline Hotel, Ahmedabad.
The RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das is set to give Keynote Address whereas RBI Deputy Governor Swaminathan J will give a special address.
The Directors who have been invited include Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Chairman of ACB, Professional Directors and MD/CEO of the bank.
A day-long conference will highlight an overview of functions of the Department of Supervision, cyber security in UCBs, governance and assurance functions and others.
