Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (HPSCB) inaugurated 22 new branches and launched two initiatives: ‘One-Time Resolution Scheme’ for loan defaulters and a loan scheme for high-density apple orchards.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu virtually presided over the event, also launching online applications for 232 clerical positions. The resolution scheme allows defaulters to settle outstanding loans with a one-time payment.
The HPSCB was lauded for its contribution to the state’s development. Schemes like ‘Sapno Ka Sanchay’ and ‘Sashakt Mahila’ have seen success, with over ?35 crore in loans provided to women entrepreneurs.
