The introduction of innovative fertilizers like Nano DAP and the inauguration of India’s First Nano DAP plant by Union Minister Amit Shah signify the alignment with the national agenda.
In a bold move towards agricultural technology, IFFCO has ventured into AI-based Agri Drone technology. The Kisan Drone, introduced by IFFCO, facilitates the efficient spraying of Nano Urea and Nano DAP, thereby promoting rural entrepreneurship. Noteworthy is the empowerment of women through the Namo Drone Didi Pilots initiative. Precision farming, characterized by the use of Nano fertilizers and Agri Drones, has brought about a revolution in agriculture. I hope the New Year 2024 begins with Happiness, Good Luck & lots of success in all our lives. As we embark on the New Year I want to thank you for all the accomplishments and achievements for the year 2023. I’m happy to share that IFFCO is committed to Hon’ble PM’s vision of “Sahkar se Samriddhi’’. Therefore, IFFCO brought new age smart fertilisers to the farmers of counytry and requested Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs & Cooperative Sh. Amit Shah to launch IFFCO Nano DAP at IFFCO Sadan, New Delhi . He dedicated India’s First IFFCO Nano DAP plant at Kalol to the nation. He also laid the Foundation Stone for IFFCO Nano Urea plant at Deoghar & IFFCO Nano DAP plant at Kandla. Also, Union Minister of Chemicals & Fertiliser Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the IFFCO Nano Urea Plant at Aonla & Phulpur stating it as the best green technology to curb pollution & increasing farmers income. We at IFFCO are continuously working towards achieving the goal set by our Hon’ble Prime Minister of Reducing the Input agriculture costs & doubling farmer’s income.
The year 2023 has been a great year as IFFCO ventured into AI based Agri Drone technology & introduced IFFCO Kisan Drone to provide Agri Drones for spraying Nano Urea & Nano DAP to the farmers which will in turn generate 5000 rural entrepreneurs across the country. In line with PM’s initiative of NaMo Drone Didi, IFFCO is providing drone training to women farmers as Agri Drones pilots which will empower rural women positioning them as front runners of the Agriculture revolution. The Agri drones will aid farmers in spraying of Nano Fertiliser, optimising data management and real time data analysis to make informed decisions about crop health. We have also done more than 50,000 field demonstrations till date and trained more than 600 rural entrepreneurs out of which 300 are rural women called as Namo Drone Didi Pilots.
IFFCO’s move towards new emerging technologies in Precision farming in form of usage of Nano fertilizers with IFFCO Kisan Drones has been a game changer for the Modern Agriculture this past year. These technologies help farmers in enhancing productivity, reducing input costs & increasing Sustainability and have a potential to transform farming in India. This was all possible due to the commitment and hard work of IFFCO’s Marketing and IT Teams across the country.
In year 2023, IFFCO’s Nano Urea & Nano DAP gave excellent results to the farmers across the country & helped them in boosting their income. This will lead to decrease in subsidy cost & increase savings in Forex. We have also exported IFFCO Nano Urea & IFFCO Nano DAP bottles in year 2023. IFFCO’s Nano Products had a very positive impact on the Agri-food Sector minimizing problems on environment, human health, and helped in Soil rejuvenation ensuring a better livelihood thus, paving way for Sustainable Agriculture. All the manufacturing units of IFFCO have performed well and their production targets were completed well before time. I would like to congratulate all the Plants, Scientists/Agro-Scientists, Engineers for this successful endeavor.
I am also happy to share that IFFCO received Several Awards & Recognitions this year for its tremendous work towards strengthening the Cooperative movement across the country & empowering farmers. IFFCO participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and had put up stalls of Nano Urea, Nano DAP and demonstrated 30,000 Drone sprays in various districts of UP & Jharkhand during the ongoing Sankalp Yatra. Friends, IFFCO has established around 52000 PMKSK Centres all across the country thereby spreading awareness among the farmers. IFFCO will continue to work towards new Emerging Highly innovative technologies & bolstering Food Security across the Country and will transform the lives of millions of farmers and shape the future of our Food System.
The biography of our Chairman Sh. Dileep Sanghani “Zero to Hero” was launched in an impressive way at a function in Amreli, Gujarat by Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Sh. Parshottam Rupala ji. Sh. Sanghani’s life is an inspiration for the people in Public & Cooperative Sector. Also, I’m happy to share that my Biography Joys of Crisis in English written by Aarnab Mitra along with ?????? ?? ??? in Hindi written by Sh. Abhishek Saurabh was launched at IFFCO AGM. It is a collection of my life’s experiences, experiences with IFFCO and the cooperative sector in the most beautiful way. The book was well received & much appreciated across the farming and intellectual fraternity across India & Abroad.
I’m glad to share that we have documented IFFCO’s collection of over 300 paintings & Sculptures collected from the renowned artists across India into a New Theme based IFFCO Art Treasure Coffee table book. The Book is a collection of various art forms and represents an amalgamation of thoughts, Ideas, beliefs of artists from different parts of the world. In an effort to further strengthen the cooperative sector, IFFCO launched Sahkar Uday, a monthly magazine published in 12 regional languages. The magazine educates about the Schemes of Government and Achievements of Cooperatives across the Country.
We have faced many Challenges and obstacles in our Journey for modern and farmers family based Agriculture but we came out successfully out of these. I would like to quote a couplet in this endeavour:
“Some people escaped the Storm with their Courage
However, Some people drowned despite having faith in the courage of Sailors”
