Express News Service has reported that the latest audit in Odisha’s Khaira block uncovered irregularities in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima (PMFB) Yojana.
The Antara Cooperative Society allegedly added 72 individuals to the list, using fake documents to claim benefits for non-existent farmers.
Following the revelation, the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies has instructed the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS) to conduct a comprehensive investigation. Sources indicate that the investigation will be carried out soon, and the findings will be submitted to the CRCS.
