The Bihar marketing cooperative-Biscomaun Chairman and a well-known cooperator Sunil Kumar Singh gave a rousing welcome to IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi at his Patna office and underlined the role of fertilizer cooperative giant in revitalizing Biscomaun.
In the honour of the IFFCO MD, the main gate of Biscomaun was decorated with Awasthi’s hoarding. The gathering of local cooperators at the Biscomaun headquarters was also seen.
On this occasion, he praised the efforts of IFFCO in general and its MD Awasthi in particular for playing an important role in reviving Biscomaun. Singh also underlined the role of the IFFCO MD in introducing the Nano range of fertilizers for farmers of the country and called him’ Father of the Nano Urea and Nano DAP revolution.
Singh received a great response from his followers on ‘Facebook’, in which one of the users Satyajit Singh wrote, “Recently you mentioned the role of IFFCO in making Biscomaun a profit making organization. This is a good example of cooperation between cooperative societies to create cooperative culture in India”.
It bears recalling that during his trip to Bihar, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi visited several areas including Nalanda and also talked to the farmers by visiting them in fields. He also participated in an ‘Agriculture Seminar’ organized in Patna and informed the farmers about the IFFCO Nano urea benefits, among other topics.
