The apex body of cooperatives-NCUI is organizing a ‘Zonal Conference for Cooperative Development in South Zone States’ at Hyderabad, Telangana today i.e. Wednesday, in which Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan will be the chief guest.
Meanwhile, NCUI Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani has arrived at Hyderabad, where the Nafscob Chairman K Ravinder Rao, Telangana State Cooperative Marketing Federation Chairman M Ganga Reddy, AP Mahesh UCB Chairman Ramesh Bung and others extended a warm welcome to Sanghani.
The conference will discuss achievements, growth as well as challenges confronting cooperative organizations in South India.
This event assumes significance in the wake of the successful organization of 17th Indian Cooperative Congress, and the wide-ranging initiatives taken by the Ministry of Cooperation & NCUI to strengthen the cooperative movement.
The participating states would be Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Around 300 participants including secretaries cooperation, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Chairman/MD of National, State and District level cooperative organization will attend the event.
