In the BRICS Cooperatives Summit, which kicked off today (Tuesday) at Johannesburg (South Africa), IFFCO’s Joint GM (Cooperatives Development) Santosh Shukla is representing India.
Sharing details with the Indian Cooperative from South Africa, Shukla said, “It is a nice experience, we’ll make a strategy to support Cooperatives of South Africa; they have also requested for guiding them in different sectors where Indian cooperatives are already working and strong”.
Shukla said that the cooperatives of India are getting stronger everyday with the formation of the new Ministry and this fact to not unknown even to the host.
“I have also explained to them about our new innovations such as Nano Liquid Urea and DAP and they have shown keen interest in them. We will need to take it ahead to the fruition,”, he added. He told the participants the story of how the Prime Minister of India and the Union Home & Cooperation Minister launched Nano Urea and Nano DAP respectively in the past.
The BRICS Summit is being held from 22 August to 24 August 2023. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has already arrived at Johannesburg to participate in the BRICS Summit.
