According to Times of India reports, the elections to various cooperative bodies in Andhra Pradesh have been pending since 2013. Presently, they are being managed by persons -in charge.
A senior YSRCP leader is quoted as saying the delay in holding elections has left cooperative bodies without elected governing councils.
Meanwhile, those clued into cooperative affairs say the delay in carrying out reforms initiated to make cooperative societies as multi-utility centres has paralysed the administration in primary co-op societies.
