The Rajasthan state government will disburse Rs 22,000 crore as interest-free crop loans through cooperative banks in 2023-24, Business Standard quotes a govt. official saying.
Under this scheme, 3.5 million farmers are expected to benefit, the govt. source claimed. The state government is expected to spend Rs 1,000 crore as interest subsidy.
Meanwhile , Rajasthan’s Cooperative Minister Udaylal Anjana has said in 2022-23, as against the target of Rs 20,000 crore, Rs 19,740 crore has been disbursed among more than two million farmers.
