The Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded a few cooperators in the Gujarat Assembly Election to be held in two phases on December 1 and 5. The votes will be counted on December 8.
Their names were there in the first list of 160 candidates for the two phased elections to the 182 members.
If Banas Dairy Chairman Shankarbhai Chaudhary has got the ticket from Tharad constituency in Banaskantha District, National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Limited Director Ishwarsinh T.Patel got the ticket from Ankleshwar constituency.
Rajkot District Cooperative Bank Chairman and IFFCO Director Jayeshbhai Radadiya has got the ticket from Jetpur constituency.
Besides, Bharuch District Cooperative Bank Chairman Arunsinh Rana has got the ticket for contesting the assembly election from Vagra constituency. Whereas SUMUL Dairy Director Riteshbhai Vasava will fight the election from Jhagadia constituency.
Similarly, Panchmahal District Cooperative Bank Chairman Jethabhai Bharwad has got the ticket from Shehera constituency. Mahisagar District Cooperative Union Director Jigneshkumar Sevak has got the ticket from Lunawada constituency.
Bardoli Sugar Factory Director Ishwarbhai Parmar and Surat DCCB Director Mukesh Patel got the ticket from Bardoli and Olpad constituency respectively.
Amul Dairy former Chairman Ramsinh Parmar’s son Yogendrasinh Parmar has got the ticket from Thasra constituency. Former mayor Amitbhai Popatbhai Shah is contesting election from Ellisbridge constituency.
