Indian Express reports quote Karnataka cooperation minister S.T.Somashekar as saying investigation into Shushruti Souharda Sahakara Bank Niyamita has revealed a swindle of Rs 110 crore.
It is said to be the second cooperative bank scam in two years in Bengaluru.
The minister revealed the information about the bank scam while responding to a question raised in the Karnataka Legislative Council.
However, Somashekar said the bank could not be listed as bankrupt.
