While inaugurating the Mobile banking service and HRMS portal of Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank recently, the state cooperative minister Udai Lal Anjana emphasized adopting more new innovations in the activities of cooperatives through technology, for ensuring transparency and making the delivery system very easy.
“The Gram Sewa Sahakari Society is being established at every Panchayat. With the help of technology, these societies will be able to generate more revenue and income. In a bid to give loan waiver benefits to the genuine farmers of the state, our government has implemented Aadhaar based proof and so far no complaint related to loan waiving has been received”, he said while highlighting the importance of technology.
Anjana further added that in the distribution of crop loans there should be an online process. The cooperative banks are also moving forward in adopting new technology in the changing times, which is commendable. There is a need to further expand the facilities being provided by the cooperative banks to their consumers, he asserted.
On this occasion, the Minister also inaugurated the ATM facility at Jaipur and Kanakpura Railway Station and the new HRMS Portal for Co-operative Banks in the Apex Bank premises.
With the new HRMS portal, the employees of 30 cooperative banks will be able to log in themselves with the said portal by entering their PF number and password. Along with this, the employees will also be able to print their monthly payslips online and can also apply for leave.
In his speech, Principal Secretary, Cooperation and Agriculture, Dinesh Kumar said that these innovations have been made so that the consumers can get the benefit of the latest technology.
The State Registrar of Cooperatives Muktanand Agarwal said that the Apex Bank has made banking facilities easier for their customers and there is an urgent need for more reforms in the activities of co-op banks.
In his remarks, Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank MD Brijendra Rajoria said, “This facility will prove to be a milestone in the cooperative banking sector.
Managing Director Rajfed Sushma Arora, Cooperative Department officials, apex bank employees, and others were present on the occasion. General Manager IT C.M. Bhardwaj informed about innovations through a virtual medium.
