Police booked Ravinder Sharma, a former manager of the Chandi branch of State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank in Kasauli Tehsil, Himachal Pradesh, reports Tribune.
The case related to a complaint against a Ramlal, resident of Goyla village in Kasauli tehsil. The then branch manager Ravinder Sharma had even issued a no-objection certificate (NOC) to Ramlal in violation of the norms, causing financial losses to the bank.
Sharma has been booked under section 420 of the IPC and an investigation is in progress.
