Police have booked an employee of Amul for allegedly defrauding the company of Rs 4 crore, media reports say.
Police say the employee called Ujjwal Vyas, assistant manager in the accounts department had faked transport bills and showed them in the name of a company registered in his wife’s name.
The fraud had been going on for the last ten years. The fraud came to light during an internal audit. The accused have been booked under various sections of IPC.
