Absorption and adoption of new technology by the masses is a big challenge and no one knows this better than IFFCO MD Dr. U S Awasthi. IFFCO has been trying all platforms from farmers’ goshthis (meetings) to VIP launches. It has now launched a Virtual tour of the Nano Urea plant at Kalol.
To catch people’s attention, IFFCO has launched a virtual tour of the IFFCO Nano Urea Plant located at Kalol in Gujarat. The tour shows how IFFCO is reshaping Agriculture with Technology and also shows the production process of Nano Urea. MD tweeted to say “it’s an Inventive Frontier to ensure a plentiful, efficient and resilient food system in the country”.
Awasthi says it is important for an ordinary farmer to understand how Nano urea can help him. The depiction has to be simple and, in a language, or dialect that a farmer can understand.
Following this cue, IFFCO invited magician Munna to do a live illustration of how the farmer’s yield and income would increase with the use of nano urea in a crop seminar in Sitapur. The program was a huge success as people grasped the concept of Nano urea rather easily through the medium of entertainment. It is very important that we tell the farmers about the benefits of Nano urea in a simple way, said the MD in the tweet.
IFFCO MD has also lauded the tech leader A K Gupta, who through an interview on the Oracle platform talks about Nano-technology fertilizer. Later Oracle tweeted the same with a retweet from the IFFCO MD.
Earlier, IFFCO received several pictures of farmers from across the country with small bottles of IFFCO Nano Urea. “It is a matter of great pleasure that farmer brothers are using IFFCO Nano urea in their fields wholeheartedly and reaping the benefits”, tweeted Awasthi.
IFFCO officials and especially its Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar have been touring remote areas to educate farmers on the benefits of Nano Urea. A seminar on “Importance and Use of Nano Urea in Crop Production” was organized by IFFCO recently at New Tehsil Complex, Kaiserganj, Bahraich where Mukut Bihari Verma, the Cooperation Minister of UP was the chief guest.
In the series of meetings taking place across states, a farmers’ meeting was organized at PACS Jangarai in Medak district of Telangana where IFFCO officials explained the importance of Nano Urea and Sagarika combination spray to farmers. They updated farmers about the impact on Crops. Sprayers were also distributed to PACS.
