Tribune reports Haryana has a new cooperative sugar mill. Haryana chief minister Manoharlal Khattar inaugurated the new Kamal Cooperative Sugar Mill on Monday.
The chief minister also opened the power generation unit of the mill.
The crushing capacity of the mill will be 3,500 tonnes per day. A large number of villages are expected to benefit from the newly established mill.
A whopping amount of Rs 263 crore has been spent on the mill that will produce 18 MW of power as well. The foundation stone for the new mill had been laid in 2018.
