New Indian Express reports, the Kerala Land Reforms and Development Co-op Society will soon start working in the hospitality sector. The Kozhikode-based organisation will set up a seven-star resort and spa at Sultan Bathery in Wayanad.
This is the first time in Kerala that a cooperative society will build a top property and operate it.
The Chairman of the society C.N.Vijayakrishnan said, the cooperative had no problem making this huge investment in the hospitality sector.
He added that cooperatives would play an important role in boosting economic growth in Kerala as well as in creating jobs.
