Money Control reports the liquidator of Maharashtra’s now defunct CKP Co-operative Bank says depositors having less than Rs 5 lakh will get their money but he has expressed disapproval of their petition in the Bombay High Court.
There are unconfirmed reports about the aggrieved depositors filing a petition to oppose an order passed by Cooperation Minister Balasaheb Patil.
There are about 1,130 depositors whose amount exceeds Rs 5 lakh. Sources say DICGC auditors are already at work and depositors will soon be refunded their money.
